Online Safety

Computing with pupils KAM_2520
At Manor Farm Academy, we prioritise the online safety of our pupil. We understand the importance of creating a secure digital environment where children can learn and explore safely. Our computing and PSHE curriculum includes online safety visitors interactions, lessons on responsible internet use, recognising potential online dangers, and understanding privacy settings. Through our computing curriculum and collaboration with Teach Computing, we equip children with essential digital literacy skills to enhance their online safety practices.
We also provide resources and guidance for parents to help support their children’s online activities; supported by Lincolnshire County Council Stay Safe Partnership and Knowsley City Council, which we then share with in a termly newsletter (please see link below for our latest online safety newsletters).
By fostering a community of informed and vigilant digital citizens, we aim to educate and protect our pupils from online risks and ensure they have a positive and enriching online experience.
