Who we are
Our Eco Council is made up of students ranging from Reception up to Year 6. Each year group has their own Eco Council book to communicate effectively with their year groups.
How to join?
In order to join our Eco Council team, students fill out an application form detailing why they should join our team.
What do we do?
Once recruited the Eco Council meets up for regular meetings once a week. We discuss ways to help our school, pupils and wider community become more eco-friendly. This allows our teams voices to be heard and become eco leaders!
So far this year we have worked on bin signage within our school. Creating our own recycling and general waste bin signs in order to help it be clearer what can go in each bin. We have also been carrying out regular litter picking sessions around the school grounds.
